Appalachian Ministries is a ministry at University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg, KY. University students volunteer to team up and go out in the community to teach children about God's Word and his love for us. Under the direction of Magan Atwood, Appalachian Ministries has grown and now has 4 separate teams that minister to the youth and children in Williamsburg, Canadatown, and Corbin. Please feel free to read and comment on the blogs written by AM volunteers and administration.

Blogger--Tess Henderson
My name is Tess Henderson. I'm from Hindman, Kentucky. I am a Public Health major at the University of the Cumberlands. My parents are missionaries at Camp Nathanael, a camp in Emmalena, Kentucky, where I have volunteered the past 6 years. I love working with kids and teaching them about Jesus! I am excited to be on the Appalachian Ministries summer team and am excited to see how God is going to work this summer. It's gonna be amazing! Please be praying for the team and for all of the places we are going to serve this summer.
